No excuse

CLASS RELIEF: YEAR 3

"Teacher, i am not good at writing," a chubby girl who is obviously fluent in spoken English told me when I gave them some exercise to fill up the 30 minutes relief class.

"Aaah, that is why teacher ask you to copy the text so you can practice and your writing gets better."

Puppy eyes. Hoping I'd excuse her the work.

"If you don't practice, your writing will never get better." I added.

"Ok, you have a good point teacher,"  she replied nonchalantly.

(Excuse me!)
"Of course i have a good point."
